About
Currey & Company

Currey & Company is a 35-year-old, second-generation family-owned business based in Georgia. They pride themselves on producing an extensive line of in-house-designed fine home furnishings, including lighting, furniture, accessories and outdoor.

Project Summary
The challenge with this project was creating an experience that could highlight the distinct quality of the furniture and be unique to Currey while also maintaining an e-commerce experience that users expect. The result is an intentionally minimalist approach in the design that leans into simple, elegant layouts and interactions.

At the high level touch points, the photography is centered as the hero while diving deeper in the site leads to more typical flows users are familiar with. On the account side of the experience, this strategy is the most evident to provide a wider range of hierarchy for a broader range of information displayed throughout the layouts.

Currey & Company's line of furnishing is exceptional, and their art directed photography captures that. With the website refresh, the photography is highlighted and better utilized across the experience.

A balance of high impact moments that centered the products while also creating an easy to interact with experience that users have learned to expect from other e-commerce sites.

These mood boards helped to guide the conversation around where the Currey team wanted to elevate their site visually. The more minimal approaches resonated with them by highlighting their existing photography.
